Diana Carol Terry

September 3, 1943 - March 29, 2017

Diana Carol Bounds Terry, born September 3, 1943 in Jacksonville Florida, to Pat and Lucille Bounds, passed away March 29, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. Diana attended and graduated in 1962 from Rio Hondo, TX schools and was a devoted school teacher, both in Texas and Missouri for more than 30 years after graduating from Southwest Texas State College in San Marcos. Since retirement she has enjoyed volunteering with the Fiesta Commission and Conservation Society in San Antonio, as well as the HE Club and Aggie Moms' Club. Her passion for the Aggies included making dozens for cookies for the student Goodie Bags during exams.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Robert Watson Bounds. She is survived by sister, Phyllis Macon and brother-in-law Carrol, of Rockwall, Texas; special life-long friends, Eileen Lind, Carolyn and Charlotte Marsh, along with many cousins and friends.

She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched as a teacher and as a friend, and she never missed sending cards to brighten the spirits of those dear to her.

Graveside services scheduled for Friday, April 7, 2017, at 12:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park with Dr. Pat Bell officiating and special music by Charlotte Marsh. Memorials may be made to the San Antonio Aggie Mom's Scholarship Fund for Bexar County students.
