Early Sunday, June 10, 2018, the Carter family lost Diana their wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She entered eternal rest and ascended into heaven. Diana was born on July 2, 1930 to Manuel and Luz Fuentes in Piedras Negras, Mexico. She leaves behind her loving husband of 65+ years, Carlos Carter Jr., her angel, Carlos Carter III; her youngest son, Jaime Carter (Irma); her daughters, Yvonne Carter Miller (Steve) and Diane Carter Reyna (Felipe); grandchildren, Vanessa Carter Turner (Brian), Valerie Carter, Robert Carter and great grandchild, Wayne Brian II. She also leaves behind step grandchildren, Joe Reyna, Philip Reyna (Brenda) and Arin Reyna (Ericka); step great grandchildren, Ruben, Penelope, Chasity, and Gavin; and many numerous nieces and nephews in Mexico. She was a dedicated and tremendous woman who was a life member of the auxiliary of the Disabled American Veterans and former member of the Sultanas De Bejar. Diana will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family will be receiving guests from 5:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road. A rosary will be recited that same evening at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5919 Ingram Rd., San Antonio, Texas.
