Destiny "Nina" Billington

Destiny (Nina) Billington, 34, passed suddenly on September 12th, 2020 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on July 8th, 1986 in Lansing, MI. Nina will be always be remembered for her forthright attitude, never being afraid to say what she thought and felt, as well as her love for her family and living her life to it's fullest. Nina also truly enjoyed her scratch-off tickets, bbq chicken pizza, watching Empire and the music of Selena. She was welcomed into Heaven by her Grandparents; Paul and Amelia Whitney, Marsden and Dorothy Billington, special uncle, David Whitney, brother George Jr, special aunt, Angel Montoya as well as our Ashley Nicole Luckett just a few months ago. She is survived by her mother, Sandra Hadley (Michael), her father Kyle Billington (Susie), her partner in love and life, Moe Wallace, two sisters, Desiree Prenos Eisenhauer (Jacob) and Tara Gordan (Matt), special aunt, Marcella Whitney as well as many other close family members and friends. Nina was especially close to her nephews, Sebastian, Kavares and Jacob George as well as her niece, Aaliyah.

Funeral services will be at St. Mary's Cathedral, 219 Seymour Ave in Lansing, MI on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 at 10:00am. Graveside services to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 4444 W Grand River Ave also in Lansing. At that time we will be laying both Nina and Ashley to rest, together forever, in their Grammy's loving embrace.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation in memory of Destiny or to the American Cancer Society in memory of Ashley.
