Delia M. Gutierrez

Delia Machado Gutierrez went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 11, 2020 in the age of 77. She was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas on June 3, 1943 to her parents, the late Tomas and Magdalena Machado.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Juan I. Gutierrez Jr.; her daughter, Baby Gutierrez; and her siblings, Mercedes Machado, Jesse Machado and Maria Gutierrez.

Delia leaves her memory to her beloved husband of 59 years, Juan Inez Gutierrez Sr.; her children, Sandy De Leon (Rudy) and Rudy Gutierrez; her grandchildren, Vivian Gutierrez (Jesse), Alexia Gutierrez, Ruby De Leon, Samantha Martinez (Josh), Melinda Gutierrez, Bessie Gutierrez Jr. (Ismael), Rudy Gutierrez Jr., Isabella Gutierrez, Jacob Gutierrez, Jakie Gutierrez and Janet Gutierrez; her great-grandchildren, Aviana, Amari, Demarcus, Esme, Valentinna, Mariela, Maricela, Javier, Gabriel and Ismael Jr., Avery, and Jesse and King; her sister, Josefa Herrera (Albert); and her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who all loved her.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the visitation at Funeraria del Angel Trevino – 2525 Palo Alto Rd. 78211– will be limited to only 75 people in the building at a time.

The Visitation will begin on Tuesday, June 16 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Procession will depart from the chapel on Wednesday, June 17 at 10:15 AM and arrive at St. Mary’s Church in Somerset, Texas – 19711 N. Dixon 78069 – for Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Somerset, Texas. Face coverings are required to be worn at all times.
