

Davor was a man who could be described as one of the most incredible persons anyone could have ever known. He has blessed all of us with so many amazing and joyful memories in a way that will never be forgotten. Davor was truly a gift given to us in this world that will never cease to provide what he intended. Unconditional and genuine love that taught so many of us what friendship and loyalty truly are. He with all of his heart lived his life, sharing with everyone his passions, joy and inspiration.
Davor was Born in Bosnia on December 19, 1981 to Ramiza and Zlatko Hadzic in Cazin, Bosnia and Herzegovia. Ramiza and Zlatko are two of the most incredible and loving parents a child could want. The bond they share is unlike any other a person has witnessed. They were brought to the United States in 1996 as survivors of a war that gave them a new life, the one we all knew them from today. The life that Davor and his family created was shared with their friends and family was a unique experience that we all celebrated regularly. These celebrations were not just birthdays and holidays, they were celebrations of just loving life and loving each other. Their radiating joy and appreciation for life was palpable and created a magnetic energy that drew you in and you would never be the same.
Davor was a man that loved life to the fullest. He loved traveling the country and would dive into new experiences with all of his heart. His curiosity led him to have many different experiences in his life that gave him amazing stories he shared. Davor was an open and friendly person who easily made friends offering genuine friendships to everyone he knew. He had diverse friends and interests. He would regularly spend his time visiting with friends and family sharing his joy for life. Davor loved Italian and Caribbean culture, music and food. He had a great passion for reggae music and was very passionate about creating music with friends. He appreciated a wide range of art and artists and was extremely knowledgeable. He was well read and multi talented, kind and lived with peace and love in his heart. He loved his godchildren, music, recording with friends and family, and attending concerts. He dearly loved his San Antonio family, New York family and Oakland family and so much more. Davor shared all of his talents with so many different types of unique individuals. He was a great inspiration to so many. Davor was so full of life and humor and could make a clever joke out of any situation and brighten every moment you shared with him. Everyday he showed up for life and life reciprocated.
With all of these great moments and experiences of joy he has provided for each of us we will continue to embody his joyous spirit and celebrate Davor and his legacy of love in each moment we continue to share.
A funeral service for Davor will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.
