David R. Valdez

He was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 14th, 1951. David graduated from Luther Burbank High School in 1969. He would later go on to have a career in commercial construction working for HCB Contractors and Clark Construction Co . On August 13th in 1994 he would marry Loretta Gibbons. He had a passion for travel and enjoyed cruises, outdoor camping, fishing as well as collage and pro football.

David is survived by son, Andy; grandchildren: Matthew, Hope, Maya, Alec, Jesse and Addison; brother, Jack Valdez and his wife, Sylvia Zamudio, amongst others whose lives he has touched.

A visitation to celebrate David's life will be held, Friday, December 30th at Sunset Funeral Home located at 1701 Austin, Hwy, beginning at 5pm.
