I still miss Dave and think of him often.

David Turner is someone we will never forget. He touched our lives because of his lovely daughter Brenda. His memory lives on forever.

Dave was a remarkably talented businessman and financial officer--and he was the rare CFO with a superb sense of humor. It was a delight to work with him in Chattanooga, and I will always carry with me the happy memories of our many good conversations, and good dinners. There is not enough space to describe and put in words of a triubute to Dave Turner. Though Dave would tell me to keep it short, simple and to the point, so here goes. Dave was more than a boss to me, he was a friend and mentor. He loved to tell stories and "I" loved to listen to him...He loved reading about new gadgets...and he loved it when "I" bought them...He loved to talk about sports...and "we" loved going to them. He loved trying new lunch spots...and "I" had no problem joining him...I could go on and on, but when I think about Dave Turner, I will always remember him as a loving husband, caring father, his effectious smile, laughter, sense of humor, loyalty, integrity, and most of all his friendship. I will miss you my friend, but you will never be far from my mind and heart.

We are friends of the Huemanns and are terribly sad to know that Brenda lost her dad at such young age. I know the loss you feel is deep. Cherish the memories that you have and all the good thoughts. I will always remember the first day that I met Dave Turner out at AASI in Long Beach. As a travel agent, I had booked a few tickets for Dave while he was with another company, and since he started working with AASI, he started calling me almost weekly - insisting that I come out to AASI, meet him, and secure the travel business for my agency. I thought, who is this guy? I had every excuse, too busy, too far, whatever - but Dave insisted that I meet him. Which I did. And since that day in 1997, I was blessed with his friendship, humor and loyalty. Over the next few years while I was still in the travel industry, I had the pleasure of meeting MaryAnn over the phone/via email. The Turners always expressed their love of life, family, and friends. My life has been enriched by these two special people, I shall miss Mr. T., and I'll always smile as I remember how Dave decided that I would be his friend even before we met.

Though our paths crossed ever so briefly in Chattanooga, as a fellow CPA, I very quickly came to realize that Dave was truely an extraordinary individual. I have encountered very few individuals within my 25+ year career that I would call the "accountant's accountant". Dave fit that mold. My faith teaches that in addition to a spiritual life after death, we each live within the minds and hearts of the ones we leave behind. Dave surely will live on in the minds and hearts of the many people whose lives he touched. We were all so fortunate for the experience. My deepest hope that in this time, your family is doing as well as it can to cope with such a tragic loss.

My Deepest Sympathy to the Turner Family. Dave enjoyed life, telling a story and/or joke and a good meal. I will always appreciate his kindness extended towards me at AASI. He will be missed.

I spent 3 years working for Dave at AASI Aircraft in Long Beach, California. As I sit here thinking what to write I realize I could fill the page with stories of all I learned from him and the good times we had. But to sum it up, Dave was a unique intelligent individual that knew his business but more importantly with his fun loving attitude and great sense of humor he knew how to enjoy life. Dear Mary Ann and family, Thank you for allowing Dave to become a part of our Human Resources family here at Sino Swearingen. He was a wonderful boss and a great supporter of our organization. Dave held staff meetings with us each Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., and although we got our work done, we always had lots of jokes and laughter throughout! His style of humor kept me on my toes and I appreciated the fact he was comfortable enough to joke with all of us that reported to him. He liked to gather a group of us to go to lunch at Alamo Cafe and he always treated us. I think that says a lot about Dave's kindness and his caring for others. I will always remember Dave's delightful approach to all that he did, even gathering cost data for a little aircraft he knew little about in Chattanooga, TN. We enjoyed eating Sushi together for lunch when we had the time. The last time I saw Dave I was on the phone with my daughter in the Long Beach airport waiting to go home. My early memories of cousin David Turner were in the 40s and 50s when he and his sister and parents would vacation at our farm at Sequim, Washington.There was fishing, crabbing clamming, playing basketball and I think I even taught him how to shoot a 22 rifle. I had just renewed David's acquaintance at our Walnut Hills High School reunion and feel sorry and cheated that our meeting came so late. He seemed to love music and as I teach singing ,we had lots to talk about and to reminisce. My condolences to his family.

Dave was a very special person who will be dearly missed by all of us at Accurate Automation is Chattanooga. He was a colleague. He gave us his wisdom through his membership on our Board of Directors. We all will miss him and his many talents. His country has lost a very unique expertise and a special individual. David is one of the very few people that has taken 3 companies public. As his career evolved, David became known for his understanding of High Technology businesses. He was an aviation leader who was accepted by Wall Street as the financial brains to make aircraft companies grow and evolve. When we went to the investment bankers the first question was "Are you prepared to listen to this wise Sage" and are you prepared to learn from his expertise in finance. Everyone knew of him or worked with our Dave. I know the many things he has done for Reba and I in making Accurate what it is today. As a friend I will never forget seeing the love of Dave with his grandchildren. I will always remember the night we spent watching Lawrence of Arabia. We wish the very best to Mary Ann, Doug, Deborah, Brenda and Marsha. They should know that all of our prayers and thoughts are with you at this moment in time. However, David will always be with all of us - because of what he has done and the many lives he has touched.

Dear Marsha, I was so saddened when Mary Schostok told me about your loving father, I was 21 when I lost my dad and it makes no difference how old you are or they are the sorrow is both piercing and paralyzing. Dave was a great friend who always picked me up with his wonderful sense of humor. The world was a better and happier place because of Dave. I will miss him tremendously.

In addition to David's free-spirited attitude, smile, and ability to always be a friend, there is one encounter with David that I will remember as long as I live. The Turners were vacationing with their in-laws at the Cyman Islands, and I thought it would be nice for David to return to a clean, well organized office. I spent much of the week cleaning, organizing, setting up files, etc. I was pleased with the progress at the end of the task and thought he would be too. Well, when he arrived at the office on Monday morning, he walked into his office and said, "Oh my" and little else. I thought something seemd wrong, but never thought it had to do with the appearance of his office. He remained somewhat quiet that morning and later asked me to come into his office. He began telling me that he knew alot of work and effort went into cleaning his office and that he truly appreciated it, but he simply could not function. He gave me an example of how I might feel if I came back from vacation and my surroundings were extremely messy from him. From that moment on, we truly understood each other, and I never let another dirty coffee cup or stack of papers bother me. He taught me, in a kind, gentle way, to understand that we don't all function the same way. This is just one of many lessons David taught me while working together at Greater Southeast Community Hospital and throughout our continued friendship. He was truly a wondeful person, and I will miss him.

David was devoted to his family, possessed of a wonderfully balanced sense of humor and a brilliant mind. A good friend he was.

In the short time I knew David I came to appreciate his sense of humor and kindness, he will be sadly missed. Chris.

It was always a pleasure to meet with David and his hospitality was excellent. He was a good man to do business with and will be sorely missed by the insurance community.
