1st LT. David J. Salazar, U.S.A.F. passed away November 11, 2011 in Minot, North Dakota. He was born on March 13, 1987 in Austin, Texas. He was a graduate of Marshall High School in 2005 and a Distinguished Graduate of the U.S.A.F. Academy in 2009. He is survived by his parents, Lt. Col. Retired U.S.A.F. Jerry Salazar and his wife Jane; brothers, Robert Salazar, Capt. James Salazar and his wife Rachel and their three children, Elizabeth, Johnathan and William; grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Clifford Trimble; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be at Zion Lutheran Church, 9944 Leslie Rd at Braun and Loop 1604 on Friday, November 18, 2011 beginning at 11:00 A.M. A funeral service will be conducted at Zion Lutheran Church at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. David Schulte officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery with full Air Force Military Honors.
