David A. Gonzalez, age 67, born in San Antonio, Texas, November 9th, 1953, went to be with the Lord on the evening of January 17th, 2021. Beloved husband,father, grandfather & brother. David succumbed to the complications of his battle against stage four pancreatic cancer in the comforts of his own home surrounded by his loving family. He put up a good fight. David was a true hardworker, he received his plumbing license in 1971 and remained a model employee and coworker until his retirement in 2010. David made many great memories and touched the lives of all whom were lucky enough to cross his path . He was on bowling leagues, which he bowled a perfect score and received his 300 ring. He loved to talk about that ring. He enjoyed fishing trips on the weekends and spending time with his family. David enjoyed his life and loved to reminisce with friends and family about his adventures while listening to music. He was the kind of person that would discuss any subject with you & let you have your opinion( of course he may try and steer you to his way of thinking)
David is reunited in death with his parents, Alonzo and Estella. He is greatly missed and survived by his ten brothers and sisters; his loving wife, that never left his side, Pam Gonzalez; children David (Katy), Olga, Jennifer, Nicole, Allison, Michelle. Grandchildren; Amanda(Jackie), Alexis, Elizabeth, David II, Cathryn(Zachary), Victoria(Thomas), Ashlee, Liam & Jeremiah; and his Great-grandchildren: Anastasia and Oliver. A celebration of life will take place in his honor at a later date still being discussed.
