I know it's late brother, it's almost new years. You're always in my thoughts, are friendship was short you were a great friend I accepted you as a close brother. We'll meet again daryl.

I love you Daryl. You were my dream come true and I am eternally grateful for our time together. You still better be my BFF in heaven babe.

Daryl, God must have needed someone who could consistently shoot them "hard, high and wide". HE must have needed you on HIS team. You will be terribly missed by all on and off the ice.  I'll miss your kind heart, smiling face and how you always, (always!)  asked about my son.  We loved skating with you. Now get out there and play!

My sister Erika and her kids couldn't have asked for a better man. He truly was her soul mate. Our families are overwhelmed with such sorrow by the loss of Daryl. The only consolation is knowing that he is with our Lord.

I guess God needed a good forward so he called you up... I will miss those wicked hard slap shots followed by that big smile of yours. It was an honor and a pleasure sharing the ice and life with you.

Daryl, There are no words to say what I feel right now.  You were the greatest nephew any aunt could ask for.  Thanks for teaching me what little I know about hockey, driving me around the hills of Ohio to photograph old barns, making me laugh, making me proud of man you were.  Gonna miss you terribly!!  Until we meet again.  Love you.

Never met a happier individual in the short time we've known each other. You've affected a lot of people in positive ways and you will forever be missed.

Daryl may your untimely departure be a reminder to all of us that life is precious and relatively short and .. unpredictable. May we all learn to live a little more in the moment - and when we think of you, which we will - may we also learn to be grateful for the privilege of what we have been given and cherish it each and every day..

Daryl, you will be missed tremendously. You were a great hockey player but an even better friend, husband and father. I will miss seeing and joking with 'Fluffy' every week.

You have been taken from us too soon.  I enjoyed our time on the ice together and you will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with Daryl's family and friends.
