Darlene Rose Rodriguez

Darlene Rose Juarez-Rodriguez, born on February 17, 1965 to Rosa Morales in San Antonio, TX, entered rest on April 17, 2011. She graduated from Fox Tech High School and worked for Fort Sam Houston and USAA . After a 10 year battle with Peritoneal Mesothelioma Cancer, she leaves this world to be with the Lord who strengthened her. She was a patient of Dr. Allison M. Garner and Dr. Anthony W. Tolcher and although her abilities were restricted, she accomplished more than anyone would have ever thought. She suffered yet smiled. She was tired yet strong. She was sick yet selfless. Her work of the Lord is now done, accomplished, and remembered forever. Darlene Rose, the greatest mother on earth, her beautiful smile and legacy will never be forgotten. She was preceded in death by her mother Rosa Morales. She is survived by her son, Joshua Rodriguez; daughter, Melanie Rodriguez; grandson, Santiago Rodriguez; brothers, Dr. Antonio Pedraza and Manuel Pedraza; twin sister, Diana Araiza; and many others who loved her as she did them. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers for a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 21, 2011 also at the funeral home.
