Daniel C. Hernandez, was born July 27, 1941, went to be with the lord on January 19, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father Arturo Hernandez, mother Adelina Hernandez, brother Arturo C. Hernandez, and sister Adelina C. Hernandez. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Hernandez, step mother Beatrice Hernandez, children Melinda D’Angelo, Paul Hernandez, Chris Burns, James Hernandez, Elizabeth Grounds, Tanya Phillips and spouses, 18 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, siblings Amelia Garza, Alice Huerta, Sylvia Benavidez, Yolanda Mainez, Virginia Arevalo, and spouses, sister-in-law Mary V. Hernandez, brother-in-law Jesse Hernandez and numerous loved and cherished family and friends. He was an Electronic Technician in the Army Reserves who loved fishing and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday January 23, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes from 9 am to 11 am followed by a funeral mass at 11 am.
