Daniel H. Guerrero

Daniel H Guerrero, age 76, of George West, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. He retired from the United States Army and served in the National Guard for 20 years. Daniel would later go on to work for the United States Postal Service for 43 years and coach Little League as well as be a Boy Scouts of America Leader. He loved baseball, especially the Astros, and enjoyed watching the Spurs and going on road trips to travel and see the world around him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Valentin and Guadalupe Guerrero; brother Delfino Guerrero; and sister Senaida.

Daniel is survived by his wife Maria D. Guerrero; sons Stephen Guerrero; Robert E. Guerrero; Daniel Michael Guerrero (Vanessa Guerrero); grandchildren Madeline Guerrero; Natalie Guerrero; Virginia Guerrero; Amelio Cochran; Victoria Guerrero; Camila Guerrero; brother David Guerrero(Antonio Guerrero); and numerous nephews and nieces.

Daniel will be missed by those who knew him.

A visitation for Daniel will be held Monday, March 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 9:30 AM at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 2829 Ackerman Rd, Kirby, TX 78219. Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
