Daniel is now reunited with his wife, Gladys, his siblings, Rosendo Tijerina, David Pacino, Ophelia Sanchez, and Robert Santana. He is survived by his children, John Kulick, Dane Kulick, William Kulick, Larry Kulick, Robin Kulick Bagley, Elizabeth Garcia, and Carlotta Garcia, along with many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Daniel had several careers, he joined the Army at seventeen and served in the Korean War, receiving the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service in combat. Later he joined the Air Force and serviced in Vietnam. He retired in 1973, after 23 years of service. Finally, he worked for the City of San Antonio with the police department.
Daniel also serviced God as a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He enjoyed studying the Bible and writing letters to minsters discussing religious issues.
Daniel's passion was music and playing the piano. He loved to entertain other residents at his retirement center. Many people have told his family that they will miss his playing and how much joy he brought to their lives.
The family will be receiving guests on March 26 at 9 am at Roy Akers Funeral Home with the service at 11:30 am in the Chapel and the graveside service following at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:30 pm
