Daniel Dorado Sr.

Daniel was born to parents Florencio and Maria Dorado in Laredo, Texas on December 6, 1929. A good man and even greater father. He owned and operated his own gas station before working as an auto mechanic and retiring as a supervisor. He and his wife enjoyed the bright lights of Las Vegas, which would become a favorite vacation spot for the the two. They both enjoyed listening to Mexican music. You'd always hear him singing the lyrics to the songs.

He is survived by his six children: Daniel Dorado Jr., Diana Lafuente, Jose Rolando Dorado (JoAnn), Martha Wilburn (Ollie), Arturo Alonzo Dorado (Rose), David Dorado (Mannie); and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Daniel will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.
