Daisy Bless Krause

She was married for 69 years to the Rev. Franklin H. Krause. Their Baptist ministry spanned 50 years in and around San Antonio, including the First Baptist Church of Waring, First Baptist Church of Leming, and Pipe Creek Baptist Church.

She was a loving wife and mother who raised six children whom she taught to read the Bible daily. She was passionate about sharing her faith in Christ with others. An active Zionist, she had a special love for Israel and the Jewish people.

In the last year she wrote her own gospel tract on salvation and readily witnessed as she gave it out.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Franklin H. Krause; parents, Robert and Jessie Rader Bless; brothers, Charlie Bless and Claude Bless; and sister, Rosamae.

She is survived by her daughters, Joan Burnette of Dallas, Jean Isgitt and husband Donald of Dallas, Debbie Troy and husband Jerry of San Antonio, Ala Mae Ramey and husband Dan of Tucson, AZ; sons, Rev. Franklin M. Krause and wife Sarah of Lincoln, NE, and Rev. John Krause and wife Cathy of Lexington, NC; fourteen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
