Consuelo Pena, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2017 at the age of 86. She is preceded in death by 2 infant brothers, mother Juanita Tafolla, and father Manuel Tafolla, sisters Melba Caunder, and Juanita (Nita) Tafolla. She is survived by her loving husband Benito Pena, son Benito Pena Jr. (Rose), daughter Diana Pena, grandchildren: Cassandra Herrera and Jacob Pena, great grandchildren: Isaiah Pena, Angel Pena, Starla Marke, Zoe Marke, siblings: Minerva Moreno, Jose Tafolla, Alma Mirelez, Yolanda Herrera, and Lamar Rodriguez and numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Sunday January 8, 2017 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers from 5pm to 9pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday January 9, 2017 at the 1st United Methodist Church in Pearsall, TX at 2pm. Interment will follow at Pearsall VFW Cemetery.
