Concha Valdez

Concha Valdez born on February 12, 1929 in D’Hanis, TX went to be with our Lord on March 13, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cipriano Munoz Casares & Juana Castillo and her loving husband of over 30 years, Johnny Valdez; brother, Manuel Casares; sister in law, Carolina Casares; brother in law, Nasario R.Castillo. Concha’s surviving relatives are her son Richard Valdez and daughter Elena V. Torres; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; Ramon Castillo (+Nasario R.), Julian Casares (+Carolina), Anita Guajardo. Concha Valdez had a strong faith in God and prayed every day. She was a very religious woman and was admired. She enjoyed gardening in her yard. She will be truly missed by her family and friends. The visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday March 21, 2016 at the Trevino funeral home, 226 Cupples, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Trevino funeral home on Tuesday March 22, 2016. Interment will follow at Fort Sam National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
