Christopher Lorenzo Lopez passed away on June 10, 2018 at the age of 27 in El Paso, TX. He was born on November 15, 1990 to Elva Cantu and Mario Lopez. He is survived by his Parents: Elva Cantu (Fernando Jr.), Mario Lopez Sr. (Cynthia); Siblings: Mario Lopez Jr., Andrew Lopez, Sarah Lopez (David), Phillip Barr , Joseph Barr (Amber), Ray Barr (Ashlea), Stephen Barr ( Desiree), Jessica Diaz (Jaime), Selena Cantu, Reyna Cantu (Cesar), Deja Cantu and numerous nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
Christopher was a family person; whom was very social and confident in who never met a stranger. He always made sure that he would put a smile on everyone’s face and was very photogenic. He graduated from Lulling High School, and then went on to graduate from Arizona State University. He was set to graduate in the winter of 2018 with his masters and then planned to pursue his PhD. He served in the Army for 6 years and was actively serving in the Army reserve. Christopher was a school teacher where he taught 6th and 7th grade Math. He loved baseball and to run Marathons but his passion was Karaoking with his teammates the Brass Monkeys.
A Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 10am at Sunset Funeral Home with a funeral service starting at 12:30pm interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
