Chris Mangum

on March 23, 1958, to Charles Douglas Mangum and Carrie Sue Mangum. He received his Bachelor of

Applied Arts and Science December 1990, from Southwest Texas State University, while working fulltime

and attending night school in San Marcos, TX. He just received his 43 year employment badge from

HEB. He was the Project Manager, (a meritas Engineer], for HEB here in San Antonio. He just completed a $33 million Process Treatment Plant for HEB. Huge success!

Chris was a widower. His wife Connie Mangum passed away July 25, 2011. They had been married for 25 years. Chris is survived by his mother Carrie Sue Mangum, sister, Ressie Marie Mangum, niece Jessica Ressie Green, her husband Justin Joseph Green and their two sons, Westin Joseph Green and Aiden Charles Green. Chris loved to travel. Went on 28 Cruises! Loved sightseeing and eating at great restaurants.

Chris was a Christian man who loved God and lived his life with honor, integrity, and Love. He will be greatly missed. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX. Visitation will be at 10:00am. Service will begin at 11:00am.
