Cherie was my best friend since we were 13 and 14 years old. She loved The Lord and lived her faith. I was in her wedding--she was my grand daughter's god mother. She was as close to me as my sister. She was my rock, my inspiration.  .She was beautiful, kind, generous, loving, constant and full of fun. Cherie was the Ultimate Beautiful Person. My sympathy to Cherilyn, Becky and Lisa.

Mrs. Shofner was always a delight to see in our office. She was a true example of Christian love.  We will miss her greatly. Her family is in our prayers.

Mrs. Shofner will always have a special place in my heart.  When I was in middle school I was blessed to have Becky as my best friend so in turn I had Mrs. Shofner as my second Mom.  I remember the house filled with fun, laughter and love. She raised three wonderful girls, I see their Mom in each. So glad I got to visit with her a few weeks back,had not seen her in many years. 
 May the Lord give you peace during this time.

Cherie was such a beautiful person inside and out.  We were blessed to be her neighbors & it seems as though we were just delivering Girl Scout cookies to her.  She was always so thoughtful & will be missed.  My condolences to her family and friends.

So sorry to have lost such a beautiful lady. She and my mother were the closest of friends prior to my mother's passing in 2006. Whenever they got together or spoke on the phone, which was often, they would talk and laugh non stop as if they had not seen each other in years. I'm sure they're talking and laughing together in Heaven now.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Cherie was a beautiful  lady who will be greatly missed by those of us who knew and loved her.
