Charlotte Marie Seiler

Charlotte Marie Bedford Seiler, 93, born on December 26, 1922, went to be with her Lord on November 11, 2016. She was born in San Antonio where she lived most of her life with her beloved husband of 63 years, Lloyd Seiler, until retiring to a life on the lake near Seguin where she enjoyed fishing and pursuing her love of painting.

Charlotte spent 20 years working as a librarian for the military at Brooke Army Medical Hospital and Randolph Air Force Base.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Ewalt and Clarice Marie (Denecamp) Bedford; her husband, Lloyd Sterling Seiler; her son, Lloyd Sterling Seiler, Jr.; and her daughter, Janis Marie Bice.

Left to honor her memory are her grandchildren, Tracy Lynnette Seiler of Austin, Chad Worden Seiler and wife Shadi of Los Gatos, CA, Christopher Sterling Bice of Chicago, IL, and great-grandchildren, Gavin Reza Seiler and Leila Chloe Seiler of Los Gatos, CA.

The family wishes to thank Paula Castillo of Seguin for her years of faithful and loving care and companionship, as well as the caring and generous neighbors in Las Brisas. They also wish to thank the staff and care providers at Brookdale Beckett Meadows and Brush Country Nursing in Austin.

A viewing will be at Sunset Funeral Home at 5:30 – 7:00 pm on Friday, November 18th, with a Graveside Service to be held at Sunset Memorial Park at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 19th.
