Charlotte W. Evans, age 84, went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2014. She was born on May 24, 1929 in San Antonio, TX. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. Charlotte was the quintessential homemaker and also the business manager for her husband’s plumbing company. Her ability to balance the two resulted in a thriving business and five devoted, successful children.
She was preceded in death by her parents Milton and Wilhelmina Wurzbach.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ralph (Buck) Evans; the children and their spouses: Barbara Hickok, (Jim), Jeanette Wyland, (Stewart), Dennis Evans, (Kathy), Maryann Evans, (Mike McNamera), and Cindy Scudder, (John); thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be 12 noon, Friday, April 25, 2014 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3303 Urban Crest, San Antonio, TX 78209. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Lake University.
