Charles N.D. Perego

Charles N D Perego lived from January 12, 1921 (Newton, TX) to November 7, 2015 (San Antonio, TX). He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He is survived by his children, Charles F Perego and Sylvia Perego-Flamm, son-in-law, Peter Flamm, grandchildren, Daniel and Renee Flamm, as well as a cousin, nieces and nephews. He resided in San Antonio, TX from 1955 to 2015. He received a BA from St Mary’s University and was a sanitarian for the city of San Antonio. He was an outdoor enthusiast who loved the study of nature and science. He maintained a Purple Martin colony at his home for many years and adopted stray and neglected pets. Life experiences included rural life in East Texas, farming in the Rio Grande Valley, serving in the Army (World War II veteran) and Air Force, and city life in San Antonio. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
