Charles D. Lusk

Charles (Chuck) Lusk, age 74, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas after a brief illness. He was born in Scottdale, Georgia on June 13, 1942 to Charlie Candler Lusk and Mary Louise Cash Lusk. Chuck retired from the U.S. Air Force on April 30, 1981 after over 20 years of service. He worked an additional 20 years with the Civil Service for combined retirement of over 40 years total Government service.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gladys Eileen Lusk; two daughters Heather Jane Shields (and husband Sean) and Melissa Anne Hemond (and husband Peter); two grandsons (Kiyano Oben and Seth Hemond) and two granddaughters (Zoe Hemond and Mia Hemond).

A Memorial Service will be on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 10:30am at Windcrest United Methodist Church, 8101 Midcrown Drive, San Antonio, TX 78239, with an interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later time.
