Charles William Kent, Jr. passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the age of 80. He was born on June 18, 1937 to Charles William and Vesta Venea Kent in McAllen, TX. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Rosetta Kent and Son Thomas Kent. He is survived by his children: Robert Stephen Kent (Misty), Richard Allen Kent (Lydia) and Christina Kent; grandchildren: Elisabeth, Tabitha, Sarah, Stephen, Isabella and Richard; great grandchild: David; Sister: Frances Lilley and other loving family members and friends.
Charles was a devoted husband, very humble and loved his family. He loved to eat, fish, camp and very involved with family. He owned several little businesses and was very involved with Little League where he served as President and Coach for several years.
A visitation will begin on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11:30am with a Funeral Service beginning at 12pm at Sunset Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
