Charles R. Clark

MSgt. Charles R. Clark, USAF Ret., born February 25, 1932, entered rest on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the age of 80. He was born in Mission, TX to Jack and Cora (Barder) Clark. Charles served his country honorably in the United States Air Force until his retirement in 1970. He then worked as a systems analyst in civil service. He was an avid golfer and a lifetime member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Pearl Culver. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lily P. Clark; son, Michael L. Clark; grandson, Michael P. Clark; granddaughter, Kimberly P. Clark; nephew, Brooks Culver and wife Susan; great nephews, Billy Joe, Brett Bryan, Beau and Cameron; great niece, Brittani. Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 3, 2012, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 12:45pm at Sunset Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
