Cecilio R. Luna, beloved father and grandfather, entered rest on October 14, 2011 at the age of 67. A native of San Antonio, he was born on September 10, 1944 to Felix and Francisca Luna. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and retired from Audie Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital. Cecilio was preceded in death by his parents; and 3 siblings; son, Danny Luna; grandson, Edward Estrada. He is survived by his daughter, Belinda E. Moreno; grandchildren: Michelle Trevino, Julia Moreno, Michael Moreno; great-granddaughter, Elianna Vasquez; brothers: Jesus, Raymundo and Sebriano Luna; sisters, Felipa L. Garcia and Soledad L. Rodriguez; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Friday, October 21, 2011 at the funeral home.
