Cecilia Ann Roberts

Cecilia was very family oriented, her husband, children, and grandchildren were everything to her. She had numerous family and friends that she cared dearly for. Cecilia was one of the strongest people and the rock of the family. Cecilia had a love for music and God. A more tender, loving soul like hers is hard to find today. Gone too soon but her legacy will live on in everyone she knew and loved. Like the sprinkling of the Holy Spirit, a piece of her lives on in each one of us. She’s now in heaven with the other angels that have gone before her, being the beautiful, caring, loving soul that she was. May she now rest eternally inside her earned reward.

Cecilia is preceded in death by her father: Santos L. Salinas; brother: Jacob L. Salinas.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years: John Henry Roberts; children: Lisa Roberts, Jessica Roberts (Felix Martinez), and Katherine Roberts; grandchildren: John Hartman, Cecilia Bishop, Carlos Hernandez, and Joseph Villanueva; her mother: Otilia Salinas; father: Antonio (Beatrice) Resendez. siblings: Anthony (Rosemary) Resendez, Edward Salinas, Marian (Ray) Gonzalez, Steven (Alice) Salinas. Daniel (Sandra) Resendez, Greg Resendez, Larry (Idalia) Resendez, Diane (Mike) Dominguez, Mona (Steve) Resendez.

Due to restrictions on public gathering, the visitation for Cecilia at Roy Akers Funeral Home-515 North Main Ave. 78205- will be limited to only 40 people in the building at a time. There will be a public visitation period on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to be held at 11:00 a.m. in accordance with the limitations.
