Cecilia Espinosa Molina who was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 22nd, 1927, to Manuel and Consuelo (Torres) Espinosa, entered into her eternal rest on November 23rd, 2022, at the age of 95. Cecilia was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Cecilia was always known as a hard worker who would do anything for her family. This started early in her life when she had to start helping take care of her younger siblings after the death of her mother at the age of 10 and carried on for many years. After marrying the love of her life Jose (Joe) Molina Sr., on July 8th, 1951, she went on to work many jobs to help her and Joe’s growing family. They were married for 38 years and they had four beautiful children.
She was a feisty, strong, and independent woman who had a long and fulling life, and was a woman of God and great faith. She was an avid traveler who fulfilled her love with trips to Mexico, Germany, and Las Vegas. A woman that was known for her crafts and creative mind that never seem to run out of ideas. She had a serious demeanor that stemmed from her hard childhood, however, she never failed to have a smile on her face.
She will be reunited in heaven with her husband, Jose Molina Sr.; son, Robert Molina; and brothers, Richard Espinosa and Manual Espinosa.
She will be remembered by many relatives; sisters, Refugia Rodriguez and Magdalena Espinosa; children, Gloria Hinojosa, David Molina (Sylvia), and Joe Molina Jr. (Diana); grandchildren, Alexandrea Molina-Keller (Michael) and Gianna Molina; and a great-grandchild Jaxon Keller. Along with numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Her beloved cat, Calico, was her constant companion and comfort till the end.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Funeraria Del Angel Treviño Funeral Home starting at 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm. The Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm.
