Cecilia R. Rodriguez Borunda

Cecilia R. Borunda, age 77, went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2011. She was born on March 25, 1933 in Socorro, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rutilo F. and Luz F. Rodriguez, sister, Amalia Salcido, brothers, Ernesto and Raul Rodriguez. She is survived by her children, Evelyn B. Sosa and husband Ruben, Lawrence Edward Borunda, Diane B. Allbritton and husband Richard, Patricia B. Horn, Mark Borunda, Russell Borunda; grandchildren, Christina, Kimberly, Victoria, Jonathan, Joshua, Little Richard, Anthony, Jacob, Tamara, Stacey, Andy, Travis, Terry, Jan, Shelley; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Ethan, Dominic, Isaiah, Levi, Angel; sisters, Gloria Walker, Angelina Saucedo; brothers, Antonio, Freddy, Joe and Raymundo Rodriguez; numerous nephews, nieces and extended family. The family would like to thank the staff of Odyssey Hospice and Dr. Cindy Johnston, Dr. Zulfi Jaffer, and Dr. Rajiv Dahija for their loving care and support of Cecilia. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera road on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. The procession will depart the funeral home at 12:30 P.M. Saturday, January 29, 2011 for a 1:00 P.M. mass to be celebrated at St. Brigid Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi-Marian.
