Catherine B Hohmann

She was born in La Grange, Texas on November 23, 1929 to Pete and Lillie Bednar.

After graduating from La Grange High School (where she played Volleyball and Basketball) she went to work at H-E-B in Austin, Texas, where she met her husband Gene Hohmann. They soon married and began a family raising four boys, Curtis, Mark, Guy and Shawn.

She loved traveling with family and friends, being a member of the H-E-B retiree group, volunteering at Roy Maas Youth Alternatives, going to SPURS games (she was a huge fan) and getting her hair done every week.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; her son, Curtis Hohmann; her brothers, Leroy and Tom Bednar and her friend & traveling buddy, Nell Faulk.

Catherine is survived by her sons, Mark & wife Terry; Guy & wife Ryn; and Shawn Hohmann;

grandchildren, Taylor & husband Ryan; Kristen; Eddie & wife Christine; great-grandchildren, Ella, Heidi, William, Ryder, Ava & Emma; sister-in-law & traveling buddy, Lola Bednar; and other extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 9:30 am at the Sunset Funeral Chapel with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 am and graveside Committal service at 11:45 am.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to Rita Marquez, her hairdresser and to the staff at Tender Touch Hospice for their service and medical care.
