Carolyn Elaine Pauley

Today we lost mommy, Carolyn Pauley. She was born March 5, 1946 and passed February 24, 2022 peacefully in her sleep. Carolyn is survived by her three daughters, Teresa Keller (Rubin), Stephanie Gilbert (Brian), and Lisa Le (Dahn). She also had 7 grandchildren, Margaret, Jennifer, Lauren, Brooke, Sarah, Alaina, and Gwenyth, and two great grandchildren, Brayden and Eowyn. Mommy spent her younger years in Cardwell, MO, moving to San Antonio when she was 16. She would meet her husband, Leo, when she was 17. They married right after she turned 18 and spent the next 56 years making a lifetime of memories. She had a wicked sense of humor and more love then she knew what to do with. She loved daddy and us more than she could show. Mommy grew up hard, but she still saw the positive in most things and the good in people. Daddy was in the military so we moved around and mommy never complained. She was a good friend, a loving wife, and a great mother. We will miss her terribly. We love you so much mommy, I hope you have finally found your peace.

A Committal Service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 2:45pm at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
