Carolina L. Martinez, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend entered rest on October 3, 2010 at the age of 81. She was born to Abraham and Viviana Leal on August 19, 1929 in Atkins, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband Jose Maria Martinez. She is survived by their five children: Joe L. Martinez, Abraham L. Martinez and wife Linda, Rebecca M. Fisher and husband Martin, Cynthia Martinez, Carol L. Martinez and husband Steven Morrow; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Daniel Leal; sister, Angelina Montalvo; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m.. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m., Thursday, October 7, 2010 to celebrate a 9:00 a.m. Mass at the San Fernando Cathedral.
