Carol Elaine Hill

Carol Elaine Hill, 69, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on December 1, 2023. She was born on December 19, 1953, in Fort Hood, Texas. Carol was a loving and kind individual with a great deal of faith. She had a passion for Christ and was an active member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church.

Carol attended Cole High School and went on to have a successful career as an Oil and Gas Engineering Technician for Arena Energy and Newfield Exploration. She dedicated her life to her work and made significant contributions to the industry.

In her free time, Carol enjoyed many crafts, including crocheting and counted cross-stitch. She found joy in creating beautiful pieces with her hands and sharing them with loved ones.

Carol is survived by her sisters, Linda Hill Weeks, Tammy Hill, and Gerry Lesch (Bryan), as well as her nieces and nephews, Preston Weeks (Ryan), Russell Weeks (Alyssha), Shawn Lesch, Emily Lesch, Skyler Weeks, and Tyler Weeks. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Carolyn Hill.

A memorial service to celebrate Carol's life will be held at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, located at 2738 MacArthur View, San Antonio, TX 78217, on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 1pm. A reception will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Animal Defense League or the church of your choice. These organizations were close to Carol's heart, and your support would be greatly appreciated.

Carol will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace, knowing that her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire others.
