She is survived by her son Ricardo Lopez; daughter Elida Gomez; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Candelaria was a devout Catholic. She belonged to the Our Lady of the Angels parish and used to be one of their Guadalupanas. She used to be a dedicated mother and grandmother.
She used to be a seamstress as well as a gardener and would encourage her family to assist her with such activities.
Candelaria will be missed by those who knew her.
A visitation for Candelaria will be held Monday, March 18, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A funeral mass will occur Monday, March 18, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1214 Stonewall St, San Antonio, TX 78211. A graveside service will occur Monday, March 18, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 11:50 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
