Bryan Joseph Crowley entered into eternal rest on April 21, 2021 at the age of 52. He was born June 6, 1968 in San Antonio, to Michael Joseph and Patricia Ann (Jandt) Crowley. He graduated with honors from Robert E. Lee High School in 1986. Bryan attended San Antonio College, and in 1989 while making his third attempt at Microeconomics he met the love of his life, Monica (they both passed the class). In 1992, he graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BBA Business Management.
Bryan started his employment in the service industry, and in 1994 he became an electrical apprentice with IBEW Local #60. He then began the South Texas Electrical Joint Apprenticeship & Training Program and earned his electrician’s license in 1999. Bryan had a successful career as a Technologies Estimator/RCDD with Alterman Management Group, where he worked on many large-scale projects in the San Antonio area and was respected by many in the industry. Bryan recently retired from Alterman after 26 years of employment.
Bryan married his college sweetheart, Monica Massengale, on April 27, 1996. They moved to Helotes, Texas in 1998, where they enjoyed hill country drives, bicycle rides, and live music together at Floore’s Country Store. Bryan and Monica welcomed their first daughter, Morgan, in 2001, and then Shelby in 2004. Bryan’s two beautiful and talented daughters were his pride and joy. He was always eager to share pictures of them and their accomplishments, artwork, and musical talents. Bryan had a passion for music, which began with his extensive CD and record collection and grew even more as he volunteered for several years with Sunday morning worship services and got involved with his daughters’ guitar lessons and recitals. Bryan was a loving and caring husband and father, with a kind heart and charismatic personality. He would enthusiastically talk to those around him about anything and everything, and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Bryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Monroe and Albina Jandt, and Dagmar Crowley, and his uncle, Lawrence Jandt. He is survived by his parents Michael and Patricia Crowley, his loving wife of 25 years, Monica Crowley, his adoring daughters Morgan and Shelby, his sister Lisa Crowley Clark, his niece Kara Clark, his uncle, Wesley F. Crowley, cousins Wesley Crowley Jr. and Kellen Crowley, and many extended family and friends.
