Brooks Kevin Anderson

His beautiful smile, his kindness, his gentleness, his love for his family, and his love for his dogs, Ruby and Lady. This is what we will remember - and so much more – of Brooks Kevin Anderson. His abrupt departure from this world has left a hole in his family’s heart, and in the hearts of all of those who loved him.

Brooks Kevin Anderson was born on May 7, 1993 in El Paso, Texas. He passed away on January 9, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas.

Brooks attended school in El Paso, Texas and graduated from Montwood High School in 2011. He spent many a day playing football in El Paso with friends and on a semi-professional team the El Paso Seminoles.

After he moved to San Antonio to help with his father’s care, he made many more friends here whether playing flag football with the Trojans, working out, or at his jobs. His passion for football carried over in his love for the Cowboys. His dedication for fitness kept him in the gym for hours, where he encouraged others.

He was a loving Son, Uncle, Brother, Nephew, Grandson and much more to his family.

Brooks is survived by his father, Robert Anderson, his mother Maria Cristina Rodriguez and Step-Father, Jesus Rodriguez, his sister Susana Eśquivel, his brother Jose Gonzalez (Jessica Gonzalez), his sister Alexandra Martinez (Angel Martinez), step-sister, Amber Rodriguez and step-brother, Justin Rodriguez, nephews, Sebastian Gomez, Javier Gomez, Mauricio Gomez, Valentino Ibarra, and Nathaniel Martinez, and niece, Leilani Martinez. He is also survived by his grandmother, Teresa Watanabe.

A public visitation for Brooks will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. Following the public visitation will be a memorial service from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at SUNSET NORTHWEST FUNERAL HOME, 6321 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78238.
