Bonnie grew up in the Houston area and lived in Uvalde and Del Rio before settling in San Antonio. She worked at University Hospital then St. George Episcopal Church before retiring in 2007. Bonnie volunteered for many years with Methodist Hospital's Blue Bird Auxiliary. She was involved with various church groups and was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Brenda L. Jacobs and husband Bob; granddaughter, Jamie Jacobs; grandson, Stephen Jacobs; nieces, Elizabeth Barrow, Susan Blanton, Bonnie June Griffin, Minnie Lou Moseley; nephews, Corby Pierceall, Jr. and Kevin Pierceall.
