Bonifacio Carranza

Bonifacio leaves behind to cherish his memory his brothers, David Carranza, Rick Carranza, and Ascension Carranza; sons, Charles Winston Lopez Carranza and Bobby Lee Carranza; grandsons, Charles Winston Carranza Jr, Eduardo Antonio Carranza, Alejandro Roberto Carranza, Dylan Fabian Carranza, and granddaughter Vivian Nicole Carranza; great grandson, Emmanuel Carranza; as well as various nieces and nephews.

Bonifacio is preceded in death by his brother, Manuel Carranza Jr, and sisters, Mary Helen Zamora and Diana Lejia.

Bonifacio honorably served in the United States Marine Corps reaching the rank of Corporal. Bonifacio's hobbies included playing poker and family card games. He was a fan of the San Antonio Spurs and the Houston Rockets. Bonifacio will be remembered for his charisma and humor, always making jokes and putting a smile on everyone's face.

A visitation for Bonifacio will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232. Following the visitation will be a committal service from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
