Blas V. Lucio

Blas V. Lucio, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, entered rest on April 29, 2013 at the age of 82. A native of San Antonio, he was born to Juan and Herminia Lucio on February 3, 1931. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Pedro; great-grandson, Joshua Ray Barbosa. He is survived by his wife, of 62 years, Julia C. Lucio; their children: Helen Barbosa, Philip Lucio and wife Janie, Roger C. Lucio; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Lucio and wife Alice; other relatives and many friends. He will be remembered by his family for his devotion to his family and his sense of humor. The family will receive friends at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 3, 2013 to celebrate an 11:00 a.m. Mass a Sn Martin de Porres Catholic Church.
