Blanche Laborde Jackson, age 96, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023. She was born January 10, 1927 to Berta Chapa and Leonard Laborde. Blanche graduated from Incarnate Word High School before taking classes at Incarnate Word University. Blanche enjoyed playing Bridge and was a member of several bridge clubs. She was an avid cattle rancher and had an interest in the oil industry. Blanche was a member of the San Antonio Conservation Society and Women's Club, as well as the Symphony Club and Opera Guild.
Blanche is preceded in death by both of her parents; her brother, Leonard Laborde Jr.; and her late husband, Dr. Francis C. Jackson. She is survived by her children, Francis C. Jackson (Dorothea) and Annette L. Fullbright; her 4 grandchildren, Sarah A. Suta (Keith), Rebecca E. Jackson, David F. Jackson, and Steven C. Fullbright (Cindy); and 3 great grandchildren, Truman Fullbright, Grace Fullbright, and Isabella Fullbright.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church, 210 St Ann St., San Antonio, Texas with burial following at San Fernando 2 Cemetery.
