Billie Jo McKenzie, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, entered rest on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the age of 65. She was born January 3, 1947, to Walter H. Thieme and Phyllis Innes Thieme in San Antonio, TX. Billie Jo was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church for many years. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Floyd L. McKenzie; daughter, Melissa Bigham and husband Jesse; daughter, Julie Butler and husband Ryan; 6 beloved grandsons and numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 10:00am at Sunset Funeral Chapel. Private interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
