On July 19th, 2023, Betty Jean White was called to her heavenly home, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love. Born on December 30th, 1962, to Bobby and Lucille Quesenberry at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, Betty's journey through life was marked by warmth, kindness, and a passion for those she held dear.
Growing up in the heart of San Antonio, Betty's compassionate nature shone brightly from an early age. She attended Ursuline Academy and graduated with grace in 1980, setting the stage for a life filled with remarkable achievements and meaningful connections.
Betty worked for National Car Rental for almost 40 years, dedicating herself to her profession and making a positive impact on the lives of colleagues and customers alike. Her commitment and hard work earned her the respect and admiration of all who had the pleasure of working alongside her.
She also had a special fondness for baking, and her favorite treats to make were delectable pecan pies and moist carrot cakes that friends and family alike couldn't wait to eat.
Her love for sports, especially the San Antonio Spurs, brought a lively and competitive edge to her life. She idolized Tim Duncan, her favorite basketball player, and cheered on the team with passion, forming a unique bond with loved ones over shared victories and defeats. Her dedication to the Spurs was a reflection of her loyalty and commitment in all aspects of her life.
Betty married the love of her life, Thomas, in March of 2004, and together, they shared a journey of love, companionship, and cherished moments.
Above all, Betty's heart overflowed with love for her grandson, Alexzander. Spending time with him brought her immeasurable happiness, and she cherished each moment they shared together. Her love and guidance shaped him into a caring and compassionate young man, ensuring that her legacy would continue through the generations to come.
Betty Jean White was a beacon of light in the lives of those she touched. Her selflessness, genuine kindness, and unwavering love endeared her to family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a community of hearts forever changed by her presence.
Betty was preceded in death by her father and mother, Bobby and Lucille. She leaves behind her husband, Thomas, daughter Justice, son-in-law Brandon, and grandson Alexzander. As well as her siblings Linda, Barbara, Bobby, and Mary. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Amanda and her husband Devin, Albert and his wife Juanita, Andrew and his wife Erika, Brian and his wife Rebekah, and many great nephews and nieces.
As we say goodbye to Betty, we find solace in knowing that her spirit lives on in the memories she created, the love she shared, and the values she instilled in those around her. May her soul find eternal peace in the heavenly home that awaits her.
