Betty Jean Hawkins went to be with her Lord & Savior whom she loved on August 24, 2017 at the age of 89. She was born on November 3, 1927 in San Antonio, TX. She was a life time member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Arty A. Hawkins; son, Donald R. Hawkins; and infant daughter, Carolyn Jean.
Betty is survived by her sons, Arty “Chip” Hawkins, David L. Hawkins & wife Cindy, Jesse D. Hawkins & wife Laurie; daughter, Betty Darlene Mair & husband Joel; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and church friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the Sunset Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
