Betty Haldy

Betty Haldy was born in Three Sands, OK on June 10, 1926 to John and Clara (Fender) Prewett and entered eternity on August 29, 2015 in San Antonio, TX. She was a devoted wife and mother. She attended Shearer Hills Baptist Church for many years. Betty was an avid UT Football and Spurs fan. Her other passion in life was playing 42 at Lion’s Field.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Haldy and her brother, Bill Prewett. Surviving are her daughters, La Vana Haldy, Karen Rayfield (Stewart), Shirley Noel (Steve) and granddaughter, Stephanie Noel and her fiancé, Brad Cowan. Betty is also survived by her 103 year old brother, Clyde Prewett of Conrad, MT.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. A celebration of Life will be at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
