Left behind to cherish Betty's memory is her son, David Kyle Dixon (Teri); daughters, Kim Pride (Charlie), and Kelli Stipe (James); grandchildren, Kristin Pride (Roy), Lesley Hidalgo (Shaughan), Audrey Cmarik (Greg), Joshua Lambert (Lauren), Tori Pride (Charlie H), Jacob Lambert (Sterlin), and Rylee Pride. Betty is also survived by her great grandchildren, Aiden Daniel, Cooper Phillip, Talia Mae, and Jaxon Luke. Betty meets in Heaven her loving husband of 64 years, David L. Dixon; her parents, John William and Josie Mae Harris; sisters, Johnnie Goldsberry and Dovie Baker; and brothers, Marion Harris and Willis Earl Harris (Boots).
Betty was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church in San Antonio, Texas. She loved her family, especially her Grands. She enjoyed watching sports, watching old movies, and reading her devotionals before she began having vision problems. The family would like to extend their thanks to the VITAS Hospice Hospital for making Mema’s last few days so comfortable and peaceful.

The family will be having a private Graveside Service on Monday Sept. 25th at 10:30am at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery, followed by burial.
