Ysidro, and oldest son, Gilbert, in eternal peace.
Born in Clifton, Texas in 1924, Betty lived a life full of love, loyalty and optimism. Even at 95 years
young, she was fiercely faithful with a compassionate soul who always put all others around her first.
In addition to spending time with friends and family, especially the great grandchildren, she also
enjoyed crafting and taking walks outside. She found particular delight in taking breaks on a bench
by the pond near her home, where she would feed the ducks that came to expect her visits.
Even through her final days, she was a constant pillar of strength for all who came into her life, and
neither her spirit nor her penchant for accessorizing wavered. Her love, grace, honesty and vitality
will be greatly missed.
In addition to her husband, Ysidro, and son, Gilbert, her siblings Lupe, Manuel, Joe, Adelita, Nico,
Andrea and Amalia precede her in death. Her three children, Linda, Richard and Oscar,
grandchildren, Juan, Andrew, Brittany, Julia, Andrea and Eric, and great grandchildren, Isaiah,
Aaron, Noah, Vic, Mila, William, Matthew and soon-to-be Madeline, survive her.
