Betty Jane Bowman

Betty Jane Bowman, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. She was a Former member of the Elks, enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband at the Elks Lodge and the Shriners Hall. Betty was a long-time member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. Born on January 28, 1926, in Hastings, Nebraska, to parents, Maude and Harry Lightner. She was preceded in death by, her husband, William Bowman, and her parents, Harry and Maude Lightner. Betty is survived by her sons; William J. Bowman, Dr. Steven P. Bowman (Margaret), granddaughters; Stephanie M. Urbick (Jonathon), Alexis M. Guiterrez (Angel), grandsons; William Benjamin Thelin Bowman, and Joshua Owen Braden Bowman, great-granddaughters; Jessica Meshell Cruz, Erika Cruz, Amelia Guiterrez and Olivia Urbick.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
