Betty Bayer, age 78, passed away May 1, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on June 8, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas to Eugene and Cora Belle Schwartz. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lawrence A. Bayer; daughters, Cheryl Bayer and Deborah Bayer; sons, Lawrence E. Bayer, Ronald Bayer and wife Susie, Robert Bayer; grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, Aaron, Lauren, Megan, Denise, Ryan, Christian and Cassy; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Zoey; sister, Geraldine Benke. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 6:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:00 A.M. for a funeral mass at 9:30 A.M. Friday, May 9, 2014 at Little Flower Basilica Catholic Church, 824 Kentucky Avenue with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
